You could be helping so many people, doing so much more and probably even making more money if you would just do this one thing.
I have spent this past year reinventing myself. I was in a very bad place and I had had enough. I hit the point in my life when I was tired of feeling sorry for myself and I was done waiting around for something to change. And, the only thing that changed from that one moment to the next was that I made the decision to start. I started opening my mind to new possibilities. I started thinking that maybe I could do more. I started changing my limited belief to UNlimited belief. I was just like anyone else, the only difference was that I started.
First, I started a little business. This led me to start doing a little public speaking. I actually saw my mom recently and she joked around that the first time I practiced my speech this time last year she thought it was pretty bad. She couldn’t believe how far I’ve come this past year. And, you know, I did suck that first time. But, guess what, I may not have been good at what I was doing, but I started.
I want to teach you what I’ve learned. Stop waiting to do what you’ve always wanted to do. Today is much better than tomorrow. I know it’s been said before, but I am living proof. I had a vision and I still don’t know exactly what it fully looks like, but I knew I had to start. And, that’s exactly what I did.
Another step I took was putting my journal writings into blog posts. I really only launched my blog back in April. I started shooting videos a few months ago.
In this short time that I’ve really put myself out there I have had people consistently reaching out to me on a weekly basis asking me for advice/help on how to start something of their own. Whether it be starting a blog or website, questions about motherhood, wanting coaching or counseling, or wanting help with marketing. SO, I’ve decided to start something else new and I am calling it “Mentoring Mondays.”
I will answer your questions on Mondays. I am so passionate about helping others achieve their full potential. Remember: You are nothing less than enough. So, let’s start.
A couple months ago I was picked to be on the book launch team for a book called “The Power of the Other” by Dr. Henry Cloud. I have read many of his books and absolutely love his writing so this is a huge honor for me. And, his latest book talks all about how important it is to have someone in your life who can encourage you, inspire you and overall just be on your side. One of my favorite quotes from the book is “Ask people about their greatest accomplishments and you will find there is usually one thing in common: there was someone on the other end who made it possible.” Think about it. Every great athlete has a coach. At least one coach. Every great leader has an adviser.
So, on Monday’s I will be your other. Having an “other” makes it so much easier to start and keep going. I want you to message me, email me, comment, snapchat me – whatever. With YOUR questions! I can’t wait to start answering them.
