Are you guilty?

Are you guilty-

I know I’ve told you this before, but I am going to tell you again. Stop feeling guilty! Yesterday I got together with Nancy Hornback to talk about guilt. We both have a similar mission of empowering others to be the best version of themselves. The first step to doing this is to get rid of guilt!

Guilt is an unproductive emotion. In the video Nancy reads the definition of guilt and it is “responsibility for a crime.” Wow. Ladies, we are beating ourselves up for taking breaks, living life and having fun just as a criminal would feel receiving punishment for committing a crime. We need to accept the fact that taking a break from being “Mommy” is NOT a crime. It’s a good thing. It is necessary. We are not criminals!

I loved chatting with Nancy because she is a working mom and conversely I am a stay at home mom. Whether you are home with your kids, at work, working from home – or some combination – we all struggle with guilt.

Check out the video and let us know in the comments if you struggle with guilt and what you feel guilty about the most.
